Wadapartja is a casual food-drink-shop concept with a local touch, for breakfast, lunch and dinner in a homely bric-a-brac setting. There are two locations, the ‘mothership’ on the Zuiderdiep and a second location, which was opened later in a former paint shop on the Pottebakkersrijge. Both stores have a similar style and living room atmosphere with hanging plants, Formica seats and a mishmash of furniture and items. Wadapartja is a casual eatery, a place where everyone – old and young, locals and internationals – will feel at home and a perfect spot to let the ‘big city world’ pass by. The menu changes twice a year and features seasonal dishes, largely prepared with local ingredients. Some favorite meals, such as the burger, are available all year round, sometimes slightly modified as the chefs are constantly experimenting with improving the recipe. Good to know: Wadapartja has a zero waste policy and straws are prohibited.
