Antiquariaat Berger & De Vries is een algemeen antiquariaat dat in de volle breedte van de boekenwereld actief is. Berger & De Vries verkoopt met name moderne en (heel) oude boeken en prenten, in de winkel, op beurzen en via digitale kanalen. Maar ook elpees, ansichtkaarten, oude foto’s en bijvoorbeeld stereoscopen behoren tot het repertoire.
De eigenaren zijn goed thuis in de wereld van het antiquarische boek, in handschriften en in prenten. Maar ook het ‘gewone’ tweedehands boek wordt hier gewaardeerd . Onderwerpen als literatuur, filosofie, geschiedenis, topografie, Groningana en biologie hebben specifieke belangstelling. Speciale interesses liggen bij kunstboeke, kunstenaarsboeken, bijzonder typografisch en avant-gardistisch ontwerp, reclame-uitgaven en bedrijfscatalogi.
Berger & De Vries Antiquariaat is a general antiquarian bookshop that is active in the full width of the book world. Berger & De Vries mainly sells modern and (very) old books and prints, in the store, at trade fairs and through digital channels. But also LPs, postcards, old photos and stereoscopes are part of the repertoire.
The owners are well versed in the world of the antiquarian book, manuscripts and prints. But the ‘ordinary’ second-hand book is also appreciated here. Subjects such as literature, philosophy, history, topography, Groningen and biology have specific interests. Special interests lie in art books, artists’ books, special typographic and avant-garde design, advertising publications and corporate catalogues.
