Anne en Barbara runden sinds 2014 met z’n tweetjes Bij Britta, een knus koffie- en theehuisje vol brocante en kleurrijke frutsels. Liefhebbers van zelfgebakken taart kwamen hier aan hun trekken met allerlei soorten baksels, zoals de fameuze chocobom Mississippi Mud Pie en‘dikke tosti’s’ voor de hartige types. Maar na 8 jaar besloot het stel dat het genoeg is en geven ze het stokje door aan een nieuwe veelbelovende eigenaar: Roel Hooghiem die per 1 juli verder gaat als Bij Roel.
Since 2014, Anne and Barbara have been running Bij Britta, a cozy coffee and tea house full of brocante and colorful frills. Lovers of home-baked cake will find what they’re looking for here with all kinds of baked goods, such as the famous chocobomMississippi Mud Pie and ’thick toasted sandwiches’ for the savory types. But after 8 years, the couple decided that enough is enough and they pass the baton to a new promising owner: Roel Hooghiem, who will continue as Bij Roel from 1 July.
