Vandaag opende familiebedrijf Nelson – met 104 schoenenwinkels in Nederland – z’n eerste filiaal in Groningen, in het oude pand van H&M aan de Vismarkt. Behalve negentig familiewinkels heeft Nelson ook hoger gepositioneerde eigen premium stores in de markt gezet op A1-locaties. De nieuwste en grootste Nelson premium store van Nederland is de nieuwe vestiging aan de Vismarkt, met horeca, een barbier en verschillende shop-in-shops van andere merken. Vanwege de corona-crisis openen Food Matterz en De Zwarte Raaf later.

Today, the Nelson family business – with 104 shoe stores in the Netherlands – opened its first branch in Groningen, in the former H&M on the Vismarkt. In addition to ninety family shops, Nelson has also marketed its own premium stores at A1 high street locations. The newest and largest Nelson premium store in the Netherlands is the new shop on the floors, with a café, a barber and various shop-in-shops from shoe brands. Due to the corona crisis, Food Matterz Café and De Zwarte Raaf barber open later.
